Puretree Cork Heritage Tiles

Puretree Cork Heritage floor tiles are designed to showcase the natural beauty and warmth of cork whilst providing a durable, long lasting floor designed to stand the test of time.

These tiles not only provide a stunning eco-friendly floor but they also help to reduce the noise in a room by absorbing the sound reverberated off other hard surfaces and improving the acoustics, which is why you will often find these tiles in libraries.

Our Heritage Cork floors are also renowned for their thermal properties and are a perfect choice if you want to improve the thermal insulation in a room, especially if you have a cold subfloor and don’t have the ability to increase the floor height with modern insulation panels.

For us it’s not just about the price, we understand that for a long lasting cork floor, it is crucial to have a high density cork tile which can withstand busy home life or heavy foot traffic – this is why our heritage cork tiles are the heaviest and densest available in the UK, with a density of 500kg per m³ making them suitable for use in both commercial and residential applications.

We truly believe in sustainability which is why we go to incredible lengths to ensure our products are as eco-friendly as possible and our cork heritage tiles are no exception. Unlike other manufacturers we utilise the latest water based acrylic eco-binder called Acrodur to ensure our tiles are not only formaldehyde free but also contain no phenol or isocyanate.

Our attention to detail continues with our finishes too. Our pre-finished Heritage tiles are pre-finished with environmentally friendly water based acrylic finish which can be used in dry areas directly after installation. For wet areas such as kitchens or bathrooms, the tiles should be over coated once installed, with Saicos Multitop 2K Lacquer.
